Visiting this website
This website serves static pages. The pages themselves do not set their own cookies or embed analytics tools, external fonts, externally embedded content or contact forms. They are delivered through a web server and the upstream service Cloudflare. Technical connection data such as your IP address, time of access, requested URL and HTTP headers, including the browser identifier, is processed in doing so.
This processing serves to deliver and secure the website and is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure, reliable and functional operation of this website. Access logging is disabled in this project's web server. Technical errors may still be recorded in error logs; upstream services may keep their own logs.
Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare as a reverse proxy and content delivery network (CDN) to deliver content and protect the website against malicious access, particularly DDoS attacks. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Requests to the website pass through Cloudflare, which therefore processes the connection and request data transmitted with them.
In addition to your IP address, access time, URL and HTTP headers, this may include security events and cookie and challenge data where the relevant protection features are enabled. Processing for delivery and necessary security measures is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the protection and reliable delivery of this website.
Further information about data processing is available in Cloudflare's privacy policy and about the terms of processing in the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.
Cookies and protection features
Depending on the enabled Cloudflare features, technically necessary
cookies may be used, for example __cf_bm for bot
detection or cf_clearance as evidence of a completed
security check. The static pages do not set these cookies themselves.
Which cookies are actually set and how long they last depends on the
enabled protection features and their settings.
Where storing information on your device or accessing it is strictly necessary to provide the service you explicitly request, Section 25(2)(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG) may provide an exemption from the consent requirement. Storage or access that is not strictly necessary requires consent. Processing personal data must also be assessed under the GDPR; for necessary protection features, we rely on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare describes possible cookies in its cookie documentation.
Retention and processing outside the EU/EEA
Connection and security data is processed only for as long as necessary to deliver the website, troubleshoot errors and prevent attacks. Specific retention in Cloudflare and other infrastructure logs depends on the services used and their configuration. You can request information about the retention periods applicable to this website at [email protected].
Cloudflare may also process data outside the European Union and European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. Such processing must meet the requirements of Articles 44 et seq. GDPR. The Data Processing Addendum describes the transfer mechanisms provided by Cloudflare, including standard contractual clauses. You can request information about the safeguards applicable to the actual contractual arrangement and a copy of those safeguards using the contact details above.
Contact by email
If you choose to send an email, we process the information you provide to handle and respond to your message. For enquiries related to a contract, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; for other enquiries, it is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in communicating with you.
We retain the information only for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, subject to any statutory retention obligations.
Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. In particular, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (Article 21 GDPR). Please use the contact details above to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the place of your habitual residence, place of work or the alleged infringement.
